Create Projects

Create a project to start managing a bid opportunity. You can import from Finder or upload documents directly.

From Finder

If you’re using Finder to discover tenders:

Find the tender

Use search and filters to locate a relevant opportunity.

Review details

Click on the tender to see full information.

Create project

Click Create Project to import and set up.

From Local Documents

If you received tender documents via email or other channels:

Navigate to Projects

Click Projects in the left sidebar.

Click Create Project

Click the Create Project button.

Upload documents

Drag and drop your tender documents or click to browse.Supported formats: PDF, Word (.docx), and other common document types.

Name your project

Give it a clear, descriptive name that helps you identify it later.

Wait for analysis

Forgent analyzes the documents and extracts:
  • Key requirements
  • Deadlines
  • Contracting authority information
  • Eligibility criteria

After Creation

Once your project is created:
  1. Review extracted information – Check that Forgent correctly identified key details
  2. Run the Checklist – Answer questions to inform your bid decision
  3. Check Eligibility – Verify you meet requirements
  4. Decide Bid/No Bid – Make your decision based on the analysis
  5. Execute Tasks – If bidding, start working on deliverables

Tips for Project Setup

Include key identifiers in project names:
  • Authority name
  • Project type
  • Year or deadline
Example: “Federal IT Agency - Cloud Migration - Q2 2024”
Include everything you received:
  • Main tender document
  • Technical specifications
  • Annexes and forms
  • Q&A documents
More documents = better AI analysis.
Before investing time, verify you can realistically meet the deadline with available resources.
